Hi, how are you this month?
The weather has been mixed but we have continued working in the garden between the showers. I am also enjoying playing clarinet again with two local community bands and we have done a couple of concerts in April with lots more to come throughout the year.
I also received the news on 16 April that my CT scan from March was all clear and I am now officially cancer free.
With the state of the world as it is right now, I have decided to keep the club discount at 20% because we all need a little pick-me-up right now and deserve to treat ourselves plus I genuinely do appreciate you supporting me and being a valued customer.

National Notebook Day is celebrated annually on the third Thursday of May, and is a day dedicated to the analogue charm of putting pen to paper and celebrating the versatility of the humble notebook.
In an increasingly digital world, National Notebook Day reminds us of the cognitive benefits of handwriting. Studies suggest that writing by hand can improve memory retention and help process emotions more effectively than typing.
Do you have a favourite type of notebook you swear by, or are you more of a digital note-taker?
I have written a blog post exploring what a travel journal is and why should you use one, you can use your notebook for whatever reason your like, but this blog will give you some ideas for getting started, especially if you are going to use yours as a travelling companion.
